The tester is easy to operate and is a pencil hardness tester designed to be used to test the thickness and hardness of cutting boards such as paints and films.
For the test, apply the lead of a pencil specified in KS G 2603 at an angle of 45 degrees to the drawing,
and use it to scrape the surface by moving while pressing the drawing with a load of about 1 kgf (9.8 N).
These tests are used to measure the hardness and adhesion of the coating film and to determine the physical properties of the coating film.
